The NS BIKES NERD JR 24″ is the ultimate children’s mountain bike. With 120mm of travel front and rear, 24″ wheels and the option of upgrading to 26″, the nerd will last for years and endure all types of use.
This bike has undergone a great deal of fine-tuning. It’s not just another addition to the range like many children’s bikes. The aim is to make it capable of growing with the child and adapting to different types of mountain biking – from xc to freeride.
One of the main features of this bike is that it can be upgraded to a 26″ wheel when the time comes. After the wheel change, the bike retains correct geometry thanks to the included set of staggered shock rings, which lower the bb and loosen the head angle, optimizing the bike’s handling for bigger kids (who will probably ride faster and more aggressively). Developed and tested by the founder of ns bikes and his son, this really is a dream bike for kids.
